Support

We have provided the following online documentation to assist you with using Dragonfly:

Dragonfly is a custom implementation of CKEditor, the popular open-source HTML editor.  It also includes an open-source file manager developed by Core Five Labs, imaginatively called FileManager.  Our newsletter capabilities are provided by PHPList, the widely-used open-source newsletter and mailing list manager.

Simple.  Intuitive.  Quick.

The idea behind the Dragonfly content management system is simple. In fact, that is our mantra - keep it simple!  A site should be user-friendly and easy to navigate.  Content should be organized clearly and intuitively; no information should be more than two clicks away from the home page.  Posting the time of a meeting or updating a table should not require a call for technical assistance.

If your website is out of date, it becomes irrelevant to the user and reflects poorly on your organization.   Why not have a site that you can update yourself quickly and easily, rather than delaying all those changes until you have a chance to meet with your tech support person?

Dragonfly was designed with the non-technical user in mind.  If you can use word processing software, you can use Dragonfly to effectively and efficiently maintain a professional-looking website.   To begin, you click on the small "edit" icon in the lower right corner of the webpage.  This will open up the password-protected editing function that looks very similar to a word processing application like MS Word.  Make your changes, format the text, and then click on "publish" and your site is immediately updated.   Watch the video to see Dragonfly in action.

Using Dragonfly, you can add photos, tables, and images to your webpages. You can establish links to documents or other websites.  For more complex operations that affect the organization of your site (i.e., adding a new page, or re-ordering pages) you can contact us, as we act as content management consultants to ensure your site stays clear and well-organized.  We handle most change requests within 48 hours, often free of charge.
